The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Polytechnic College was started
by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational & Charitable Trust
in November 1998, approved by AICTE Newdelhi and DOTE Chennai.
The college is situated on a 30 acres campus along the western
parts of Perambalur - Thuraiyur high road.
The College is started by the
trust in this backward region with an objective to get the
students educated in technical skill and knowledge. This will
go a long way in improving the living condition of the people.
The management is striving hard to establish Dhanalakshmi
Srinivasan Polytechnic College as an Institution of Excellence
in the field of technical education.
The Training and Placement cell also conducts Motivation Programmes,
Personality development Programmes, for the students to get
an In-depth view and feel of Technological, Managerial and
administrative skills involved in functioning of an organization/industry.
An Excellent and dedicated team of teaching faculty is shaping
the students and our students are very well disciplined.
Moreover the students have a
life long and fulfilling relationship with the department
and institute. Their academic performance is of the highest
order as revealed in the previous pages. A separate cell for
training and placement has been activated to help the students
to build competency and get campus interviews and employment.
Decorum in words and deeds is the most compelling and permanent
part of the agenda of DSPC, and students are paid extra attention
in this area. Our polytechnic jointly with BOARD OF APPRENTICESHIP
TRAINING (SR) conducted a grand walk in Campus interview (Job-Mela-2006)
during the month of April 2006, May 2007 and April 2008. About
47 leading companies participated in the job mela and they
selected candidates for regular jobs and as trainees.
This JOB MELA gave opportunity to all Diploma Engineers from
various department and colleges. The strength of the participants
were 3000 and more. More than 1200 candidates were short listed
and selected. Apart from organizing job mela our Polytechnic
cell is also prepared to organize and intensively train our
students in any course that will be of interest to the organization
that comes for campus selections.
We also offer Personality Development Programmes to our student
that enhances their skills in communication and leadership.
In a nut shell, we mould our students fit enough to take up
challenging job as soon as they complete their course.
For conducting the campus
interview in our college we will extend all possible help
and necessary facilities as per the company’s requirement.
All facilities are available for the comfortable stay of the
selection authorities coming for conducting campus selection
for recruitment & placement.
